A Brief Insight to Visishtadvaita Philosophy
The vital, crucial role of an Āchārya
A person who understands that he lacks the prescribed qualifications or ability to follow Karma, Jnāna, and Bhakti but has the conviction and a longing desire to reach the Lord has a smooth and sure path laid out for him. All one must do is seek out an Āchārya who will act as the spiritual guide. One must remain devoted and steadfast, with absolute faith that the Āchārya will see them through in their spiritual journey to attain the Supreme. The only requirements are total desire, devotion, and faith in the Āchārya.
If a disciple follows the teachings of their Āchārya, they will obtain all the benefits of dharma, artha, kama, and moksha.
