Conclusion

The object and goal of life is that every human being should internally realize the divinity within himself and realize the unity with the Lord. The devotee who understands that he lacks the qualifications or the ability to follow Karma, Jnāna, and Bhakti yogas as stipulated, but possesses a longing desire to be united with the Lord, has a sure and easy path laid out. All one has to do is seek out an Āchārya and surrender to him with complete confidence, absolute faith, and devotion.

The disciple must learn to appreciate the teachings of the Āchārya and see the Āchārya as an equivalent or a representative of the Lord Himself. Through being initiated by the Āchārya and following his instructions, the disciple gains the fruits of dharma, artha, kama, and moksha. Ultimately, the Lord will shower his grace on such a person, granting moksham or eternal bliss.

I would like to end this journey by paying obeisance to my Āchāryas and the Lord.

pallāṇḍu pallāṇḍu pallāyirattāṇḍu pala kōṭi nūṟāyiram

mallāṇḍa tiṇtōḷ maṇivaṇṇā! uṉsēvaḍi sevvi tirukkāppu

aṭiyōmōdum niṉṉōḍum pirivinṟi āyiram pallāṇḍu

vaṭivāy ninvala mārbinil

vāzgiṉṟa maṅgaiyum pallāṇḍu

vaṭivār cōdi valatturaiyum shudaṟāziyum pallāṇḍu

paṭaipōr pukku muzaṅgum appāṉjaṉniyamum pallāṇḍē

kāyena vācā manasendriyairvā

buddhyātmanā vā prakṛteḥ svabhāvāt;

karomi yadyatsakalaṁ parasmai

shrīmamana narāyaṇāyetisamarpayāmi.

sarvaṁ shrīkṛshṇārpaṇam astu.
