- This kshethram is located in Tiruvalla town, near Kōṭṭayam, in Kerala.

Sthala Puranam
According to legend, Mangalathammai used to observe Ekādashī vratham and feed one Brahmachāri on the Dwadasi day. Tolakarana, a demon, was creating hurdles to her vratham. Responding to her prayers, the Lord killed the demon and came for the feast in the form of a Brahmachāri, and later gave darshan to her with Lakshmī adorning His chest and gained the name Tiruvazhmarban. The place Tiruvalla originates from the presiding deity Vallabha.
Special Note
According to legend, Ghantakarnan attained moksha at this kshetram.
The presiding deity is said to have been handmade by Vishvakarma, as instructed by Lord Krishna Himself. Vishvakarma wanted to establish the Lord at this kshetram at the end of the Dvāpara Yuga, but it is said that Garuḍa hid the Lord until Kāli Yuga had taken full effect. Later, Garuḍan established the Lord here.
This kshethram has a separate shrine dedicated to Shri Sudarshana Chakrath Āzhwār.
